　　A: It sounds that you have a high opinion of him.

　　聽起來你對(duì)他評(píng)價(jià)很高呀。

　　B: He is an all-right guy. I have no bone to pick with him.

　　A: Birds of feather flock together.

　　第一、 地道表達(dá)

　　【 核心短語 】all-right

　　【解詞釋義】all-right和all right要區(qū)分開。All-right做形容詞時(shí)表示“還不錯(cuò)的，還過得去”。All-right中的all表示“很好，優(yōu)秀”，各方面都不錯(cuò)的人當(dāng)然應(yīng)為“優(yōu)秀”的人了。引申為“可靠的”“可信的”或“善良的”的意思。

　　我們保證這個(gè)試驗(yàn)是可靠的。

　　【 典型范例2 】The caretaker of the warehouse was all-right.

　　那個(gè)看管倉庫的人是很可靠的。

　　have a high opinion of something or somebody：高度評(píng)價(jià)，對(duì)......有好的看法，認(rèn)為......很好
