   動詞方面需要注意的問題

　　一、近意動詞的辨析選擇

　　例：The VIPs from 21 countries will ___the APEC in Shanghai this autumn.(2001年上海中考題)

   A. hold 　B. take part in 　C. join 　D. attend

　　解析：詞匯的辨析使用很多是約定俗成，不能想當(dāng)然，更不能按照中文意思去硬搬。Hold是舉行的意思，比如hold a meeting，hold a conference。但是這道題不是舉行而是參加的意思，出席會議按照英文慣用法用attend a meeting，take part in 是指參加大型的活動，join是指參加黨政，團(tuán)體，組織，比如入黨，join the party。所以這道題選擇D

　　二，動詞短語的辨析

　　例：The government will ___some new colleges for more students to receive higher education.(2001年上海中考題)

　　A. set upB. set out 　C. put down 　D. put on

　　解析：set about 著手做 set out 出發(fā) set up 建立；put up 舉起、掛起put off 推遲 put up with 忍受 put down 放下 put on 穿上 這道題是指建立一所新大學(xué)所以只能選擇A.

　　例：—Shall we call for a taxi?

　　-ok, Let me ____the phone number in the Yellow Pages.(2004年上海中考試題)

　　A. look atB. look for 　C. look up 　D. look after

　　解析：look組成的短語是非常基礎(chǔ)和重要的，在此我把中要得look短語簡要的總結(jié)給大家：　　　　　　　　　

　　look after 照看，照顧 look around環(huán)顧，四周看

　　look at 看，朝……看，檢查 look for尋找

　　look into朝……里面看，調(diào)查 look like看起來像……

　　look through透過……看，瀏覽 look up抬頭看，查找

　　take medicine服藥 take off脫下，(飛機(jī))起飛，

　　take on接受，雇用，呈現(xiàn) take out取出,帶…出去

　　take part in參加，參與 take turns輪流(做某事)

　　take…out of從……中取出 take…to…把……帶到……
